Oakview is located on a nine-acre wooded lot on the grounds of Southwest General, offering patients and their families a peaceful and calm setting away from the activity of the Health Center. The building, which opened in 1991, is specially designed for the patient's comfort, with large windows overlooking the wooded acreage. Patient rooms and family meeting areas present a home-like decor.
Because every patient is unique, Oakview offers:
- Inpatient and outpatient* treatment for mental health
- Outpatient* treatment for chemical dependency
- Dual diagnosis treatment for patients with both mental health problems and chemical addictions--resources available under the same roof.
