Through this unique partnering agreement, Southwest General offers its
communities local access to selected services of the following world-renowned
UH facilities:
One of America's great children's hospitals and for Clevelanders, the most trusted name for children. At Southwest General, neonatal nurse practitioners from UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital work to provide 24-hour coverage for babies.
A partnership between University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center is designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. It is the only NCI-designated center in Northern Ohio. As an NCI-designated center, it provides patients with the most current and investigational therapies, many of which are not available outside a research setting. Through the partnering agreement, Seidman Cancer Center services are available on the Health Center's main Campus through the UH Seidman Cancer Center at Southwest General.
