Katie graduated from the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in 2023 with her PharmD. She completed her PGY1 residency in 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH. Her current clinical interests include toxicology, psychiatry, and substance use disorders. Katie hopes to stay in Ohio after residency as an ED pharmacist in a community hospital to continue caring for critically ill patients. Outside of pharmacy, Katie’s interests include spending time with family in Michigan, live music and going to concerts, playing video games, and playing with her rescue cat, Lily.

Hannah graduated from the University of Findlay in 2022 with a Master’s in Business Administration in Healthcare Management and her PharmD. She completed both her PGY1 (2022-2023) and PGY2 Emergency Medicine (2023-2024) residencies at Southwest General. Hannah's areas of interest include pediatrics, resuscitation and precepting. Outside of pharmacy, Hannah enjoys staying active, reading, playing intermural volleyball and spending time with her 8-year-old cavapoo, Baloo and her three younger siblings (Arden, Ezra and June).

Ginny graduated from Valdosta State University in her home state of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a minor in mathematics. She went on to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) and completed her PGY1 residency at Riverview Health in Indiana. After working as a clinical staff pharmacist for one year, Ginny pursued a PGY2 in emergency medicine. Her goal throughout the year is to provide meaningful care by optimizing medical management in her emergency department. Currently, Ginny’s career interests include trauma/resuscitation, toxicology, and substance abuse disorders. Ginny’s interests outside of the pharmacy world include staying active, spending time with her sweet Australian shepherd, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
Current position: Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - University Hospitals Parma Medical Center
Cat graduated from Ferris State University College of Pharmacy in Michigan and is originally from Wellington, New Zealand. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center (UHPMC) and her PGY-2 Emergency Medicine pharmacy residency at Southwest General. Cat's clinical interests include resuscitation, infectious diseases, and pediatric emergency medicine. She is currently a clinical specialist and has since returned to UHPMC to introduce emergency medicine pharmacy services.
Current position: Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Wooster Community Hospital
Caleb Hartzler graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2019 and completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at Southwest General. Caleb stayed on at Southwest General as the inaugural resident in the PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency. Caleb grew up in Creston, OH and currently still resides in Wayne county. Caleb’s passion is contributing to the care of critically ill patients, and is currently a clinical pharmacist at Southwest General covering the emergency department and critical care and stepdown units.
