Diplomat Healthcare is a 130-bed skilled nursing facility in North Royalton that is conveniently located just minutes from Southwest General Health Center. Our facility offers quality healthcare with a resident-focused team approach. We are committed to providing services designed to meet the needs of our residents and aim to positively impact the community we serve. Our therapy team is committed to the facility's belief that achieving the maximum level of independence possible preserves every individual's quality of life. In addition to our excellent therapy team, Diplomat Healthcare offers a full range of medical and skilled nursing services. We strive to provide our residents with the quality medical services necessary to ensure a safe return home and back into the community by initiating our PATH program (Progressive Approach to Home) within 72 hours of being at Diplomat. The patient is assigned a care team to follow them throughout their stay and communicate with their loved ones. It is the mission of our facility to provide the highest quality care possible to those we are privileged to serve.

Diplomat Healthcare has proudly maintained a five-star rating in our Quality Measure, as defined by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Special Programs

Diplomat Healthcare had dedicated our attention to the needs of those in our community who have special needs due to having a diagnosis of dementia. Realizing the challenges presented to those living with this illness, our facility has two dedicated units for our residents with Alzheimer's disease and other types of demetia. We also utilize the services of one of the community's top geriatric psychiatrists who has been dedicated to the appropriate medication management and medical treatment of these residents with the goal of maintaining the highest quality of life possible. Diplomat also serves patients with a higher level of medical complexity. We accept patients with TPN, Bi-Pap, wound vacs and peg tubes and our therapy department speaks English, Spanish, Romanian and Polish.
