At Southern Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located 1/2 mile from Southwest General Hospital and 5 miles from Fairview Hospital, we offer a full calendar of activities that includes outings, recreation, crafts, and religious services. And there is always ample time for making friends, reading, or just talking over old times. This approach helps each of our residents participate in life to the fullest extent possible.

We are dedicated to meeting a wide range of personal and medical needs with care and compassion. That level of concern is reflected everywhere, from the attractive surroundings to the way we get to know and respect the needs of each and every resident and patient. We take pride in offering the little extras that mean so much and make life pleasant.

Rehabilitation is an essential component for a successful recovery. Southern Hills’ Rehabilitation Department offers physical, occupational and speech therapy. Therapy services are available to all of our qualifying patients 7 days a week in our spacious therapy gym by a team of dedicated therapists. Our therapist have had professional training to assist you with balance issues, fall prevention, cognitive (awareness) skills, complex medical conditions and incontinence.

Specialty Statement

”Delay the Disease” is a fitness program designed to empower people living with Parkinson’s Disease by optimizing their physical function and helping delay the progression of symptoms. Free weekly classes are Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. No experience necessary! Just show up!
